Crystal celebrates first anniversary of Sydney Corporate Office
Leading luxury travel brand Crystal is currently celebrating the first birthday of its dedicated corporate Sydney office established in January 2017, to exclusively service the Australian and New Zealand markets.
Following a successful year of trade focused sales and marketing activities to enhance Crystal’s brand awareness and increase knowledge of all the Crystal experiences on offer, Karen Christensen, Crystal’s Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Australia and New Zealand, is moving forward into 2018 with a solid foundation for continued growth. “I am thrilled with what we have achieved for Crystal in our first year of operation and the position it has placed us in for a strong and positive future ahead in this market.”
“I want to personally thank our trade partners – of which there are many – for the support and enthusiasm they have shown for the brand. And of course, thanks also goes to my team members who have worked extremely hard, startup operations are not easy,” Karen said.
Crystal’s growing Sydney office now comprises 14 sales and marketing, reservations and finance team members.
2018 brings several exciting initiatives including a television campaign in January that will showcase Crystal’s ocean cruises as well as the meeting of the company’s two elegant, luxurious ocean vessels, Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity, in Sydney Harbour for the first time. Both on their respective World Cruises, the ships will sail into Sydney mid-February, 2018.
The last year has seen continued growth for Crystal with the company offering global journeys with Crystal Cruises, Crystal River Cruises, Crystal Yacht Expedition Cruises and Crystal AirCruises. The announcement of the multi-million dollar redesign of the two sister ocean ships, Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity; the launch of new state-of-the-art river yachts, Crystal Bach and Crystal Mahler, with carefully crafted itineraries following the Rhine and Danube rivers; and the unveiling of Crystal Skye Boeing 777-200LR the world’s newest private tour jet, were all news in Crystal’s luxury offer to its guests in recent months. Looking ahead, Crystal will continue to expand its fleet with the upcoming Crystal Debussy and Crystal Ravel river ships, Crystal Endeavor, the second in the fleet of expedition yachts, and an entirely new class of ocean ships over the next five years.
