Sales open for PONANT April – October 2019 season

PONANT, the only French-owned cruise line and the world leader in luxury small ship expedition cruises, is opening sales for more than 70 departures. There is a rich and varied offering discovering Northern Europe, Central and South America, the Indian Ocean, Oce-ania and, of course, the Mediterranean.

A fleet of 9 ships for 2019, including 4 new jewels

The arrival of the new series of four luxury expedition yachts, the PONANT EXPLORERS, means that the company can offer a huge programme across a fleet of nine ships for the northern summer 2019. Whilst the Arctic itineraries have been on sale since July, sales are now opening for all destinations, with advance purchase savings of up to 30 percent.

PONANT thus continues to travel the seven seas, bringing with it the French way of life. French crew, attentive service, gastronomy, luxury comfort and extreme refinement are the hallmarks of the com-pany’s cruises, for both expedition and yachting.

44 departure dates including 5 brand-new ones in the Mediterranean

From Ancient Greece to Rome, from Egypt to the Iberian shores, in the Adriatic or in the heart of the Aegean Sea’s islands, the Mediterranean is at the crossroads of the great civilisations. With 44 depar-ture dates for this 2019 summer season, set off to discover this heritage in the most immersive and exclusive way possible with PONANT. Indeed, the company is offering no fewer than 35 different itiner-aries in the region, including 5 new itineraries.

Brand-new: Great Lakes of North America

For this season, PONANT is proposing two departure dates for a brand-new cruise crossing four of the five Great Lakes of North America, timed to capture nature full of the colours of autumn. An itiner-ary created for limited capacity ships which combines picturesque landscapes with cultural visits.

Plus a large choice of tropical destinations

PONANT is also proposing a selection of cruises in Central and South America, Oceania or in the Indian Ocean. Nine departures on the new ship Le Laperouse during her inaugural season in the Kimberley, Australia’s vast wilderness region, is notably scheduled, enabling passengers to discover its unique biodiversity and marine environment, which are among the most preserved in the world.
