Hard Rock Hotel Daytona Beach announces the appointment of Kevin Hines as general manager of the new 200-room, beachfront property. Hines has recently filled a number of other key positions on the hotel’s pre-opening executive team, including director of sales, director of finance, director of human resources, director of rooms and spa director. The members of the executive team have assumed their positions in advance of a late 2017 opening.

A 25-year hospitality industry veteran, Hines has contributed to the success of many renowned beach and ski resorts, as well as large-scale convention center operations. Most recently, Hines was with The St. Regis Resort Deer Valley in Park City, Utah, where he directed food and beverage operations for the AAA Five Diamond property. His other executive-level experience includes time as director of food and beverage at the luxury Surf and Sand Resort and Spa in Laguna Beach, and as director of operations for the Staples Center (Los Angeles), where he was recognized for his outstanding leadership. His early career experience includes time as banquet manager at Copper Mountain Resort in Colorado, conference operations manager at the Cliff Lodge at Snowbird (Utah), general manager of Salt Lake City’s acclaimed Capitol Café and director of food and beverage for the Sheraton City Centre.
