Travel Counsellor wins award for unique customer service

A Travel Counsellor is celebrating after being recognised at his regional Business Achiever Awards, winning the category of Specialised Service.

After joining the company just 14 months ago Brisbane based Jamie Cooper has already established a thriving travel business in his local area, and as such he beat eight other finalists in his category in recognition of the unique personal and highly specialised service he is able to offer his customers as a Travel Counsellor.

Established in 1994, the Business Achiever Awards, (an initiative of Quest Community Newspapers) recognise and reward local businesses in Brisbane for providing top quality services and ‘Going the Extra Mile’ by offering improved customer services to customers.

Working from home and supported in all areas of his business by the company’s office in Melbourne and international offices across the globe, Jamie has developed a loyal customer base in Brisbane and beyond. He comments; “I am delighted to have won this prestigious award as it’s great to be recognised for the service I provide and the job I love doing. The category of Specialised Service was the most contested of all 14 categories on the night and I was announced the winner on my first attempt, against businesses that had been nominated 6 years running, which is just fantastic for me and reinforces that I made the right decision joining the company. The support I receive is second to none and allows me to focus on what I love and do best – selling travel to my customers and making their travel dreams come true.”
